I'm looking for a couple St Croix spinning blanks, apparently no longer in production. I'm trying to duplicate a rod I built about 6 years ago.
The blank I am looking for is S-II material (Satin Black), 5'6". Key dimensions are a butt diameter of 0.360" with a tip diameter of 0.067". My guess is that it was an S256LF. The latest St Croix on-line catalog does not list a blank with these characteristics, or anything that comes close. I've thought about buying a longer blank and cutting it down but I doubt that would match the action of "old faithful" Skip Re: Older St Croix Blanks

I have a 2S56LF that's about 3 years old, mesures a loose 4.5 tip and a .37 butt. Sounds like a winner. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
