I've finished shaping the feet and was wondering what paint or finish
to make it all black agin as I'm going to use silk without CP and the
feet will show through.

A Sharpie pen works for me, You can put CP over the Sharpie for insurance

I agree with Mike;
You can Go to Lowes. They sell heavy duty sharpie's designed to be use out side with out any fading problems. Last ones I bought were over in the contractors section

The Sharpie, when dry, isn't enough. You need to use something to seal it. CP, clear nail varnish, Krylon fixatif, etc. Or just use black nail varnish. A thin coat works fine, but you must ensure that it is fully dry before wrapping and epoxying.

I haven't ever had it bleed but I use CP on all my wraps. You can just do what Ted suggests if you don'y use CP on your wraps

Thanks for the tips. I'll try the sharpie trick first and if I had a teenage daughter
I'd just steal her black fingernail polish ....

I've used both the sharpie and black nail polish and prefer the black nail polish. Haven't tried the nail polish over sharpie yet.
