For those of you that may be confused about how to do the Forhan Locking wrap in spite of the excellant article in the library above, Terry Turner has put together an excellant pictorial on how to do this great wrap, not to take away from the original article but to add a more detailed pictorial. Anyone wanting a copy, please e-mail me mbarkley@wowway.com and I will be glad to send it to them.

Please do NOT request it by adding to this post and tying up the forum.

Mike,

The major problem that I have had with the Fornhan Locking Wrap is that I have had trouble " twecking" (sp) the guides into alignment. It seems that I always break the thread if I try to move the guides after I complete these wraps.. Can the guides be moved after the Forhan Locking Wrap?? (or am I asking a stupid question?) Is there a trick to alinging the guides before completeing the wrap?

I'm able to tweak my guides now - I just don't put a lot of tension on the locking wraps (like I used to).

Yes, you should still be able to adjust guide alignment with a completed Forhan wrap.

If you can't, then the thread tension is too tight. Try backing off a bit and try again.

The tutorial was sort of fun to do. Glad people found it useful.
