I do know that RX7 are being made in China for last couple of years or so... But have noticed that new XST are priced good deal higher. That's why I asked the question

The new Rainshadow XST - Salmon/Steelhead blanks are made in China. These blanks are made from a higher Modulas material than our RX7 blanks, it actually a blend RX8 & 7. We developed these blanks through 2 years of Research & Development. We fished these blanks for over a season of fishing in this area. We have been asked by our customers to develop this series for the Fishermen that wanted a more sensitive & Ligher weight rod for these types of presentations. IMHO I feel this is the finest Salmon / Steelhead blank avaiable todate. The color is a stunning Titanium Chrome and I have personally built 4 of these using Gudebrod light grey with Gunmetal blue metallic inlays. Try one and I know you will not be dissapointed with another development that we have brought to this industry. The Vision continues..
If you would like one of our Free 106 pg color catalogs please contact us. Thank you ALL for your support, these types of new developments would not be possible with it.

I've built 2 of these, a 4-8 and an 8-12. Have only fished the 8-12 but both are very nice. The color is very unique but the feel of these blanks is what impressed me the most. You wouldn't be disappointed in one.
