In the post below by Raymond Adams he writes about how good the Rainshadow blanks are and we agree . We at Fishsticks 4u also feel the same way about the Forecast guides, that they are some of the best if not the best guide on the market today . So we are going to extend our anniversary sale for the month of October ,so those of you that already use the Rainshadow blanks and Forecast guides can stock up , and the ones that want to try them will be able to and save some money at the same time . All orders will receive a 20 % discount , excluding close out and sale items . You will not see the discount at check out , but you will get a new invoice by email showing the discount . Thanks again from the crew at Fishsticks4u for your support .

Robert

These guys already have great prices (and service.) If they are having a sale it will be a good one.

When I first got into rod building, I found this site and from here I found fishsticks4u. I was looking for some high end blanks that I was a big fan of and contacted Robert at fishsticks4u. Robert told me about the Rainshadow blanks and convinced me to buy one, build it and compare it to the high end rods I have been fishing for years. I did, and in fact I bought a couple of Rainshadow blanks since they were so reasonably priced. I built one of the the Rainshadow blanks and was amazed at how well the it compared in every way to the high end rods. Since then I have bought a number of Rainshadow blanks from Robert and have always found the service and prices to be excellent at fishstick4u. Robert has always provided me with first class service and helped me out many times when I had questions about rod building. If you have not tried a Rainshadow blank, you really should. They make a great rod (especially for their price) and you will not find a better business to deal with then fishsticks4u.

How's this: a local guide broke his favorite Sage. He asked me to make him a new rod (6'6" 3 wt), so I did -- on a Rainshadow blank. Guess which one he liked better?

I started using the Batson guides and reel seats at Roberts suggestion and just love them. The bases of the guides take little or no grinding to make them useable. I have used nothing else but Batson's guides since. Mark

Batson has some really fine products and the folks at Fishsticks4U give great service and advise on those products. Good folks to do business with and prompt service.
