If you don't know what they are, why do you want to buy them ?LOL. Seriously just look at any vendor on the left and you should be able to find a picture of one

LOL! Actually, Mike, I know they are part of the handle and probably how Terry Henson inlays his bugs. I'm just not sure how to insert it, but I'm sure I can find out.

It's basically a long winding check.

Hi Billy! So, I'm assuming (as perilous as it is), that there are white hosels?

Bruce,
What Terry is using is NOT the hosels that can be purchased, Terry turned the "hosels" from animal horn, ivory, etc. Check his pix on the Photo Page, he explains what he used in the pix. The hosels that you buy are generally like fat winding checks and are thin rubber/plastic. Go to www.fishsticks4u.com and click on Hosels. To inlay something, it has to be solid so that you can carve out a depression to set the inlay item into

RBO Glossary: Hosel. Used to finish off the forward edge of a rod foregrip. Similar to a cap with a hole bored in the end for the rod blank to pass through. Mostly of a decorative nature.

MARRIAM-WEBSTERS dictionary: Hosel. a socket in the head of a golf club into which the shaft is inserted
