thanks for all the input
i am using guberod cp, the threads were soaked completely thru because i stripped it off and am starting over,
and the method of application is dip brush in the mixing cup or in the bottle
and with a saturated brush just let the cp touch the threads except on the edges
that is when i actualy let the brush ride on the threads to smooth it out so i dont
have ahump at the end of the wraps.( metalic trim on the ends is the reason)
same way i have been doing it but this is the first time it looked like soap bubbles sitting on top of it
thats why i was wondering if it had gone bad or if it just dried to fast
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE INFO
try it again and if it does it again i will get a new bottle

Don't let it puddle up and you won't have those bubbles or whatever. Apply a good wet coat but keep turning the rod while your brush is on it until any excess is gone. I think you will find that this way you won't get those bubble looking things.

Brush it on, which means not loading the brush so much. Lay it on evenly, just like anything else.
