One of the sponsors here stocks them. I have bought several from Ross and shipping time is pretty quick. [www.therodworks.com.au]

Are the Alps triangular seats good for saltwater. They look sweet was thinking of making a Tuna rod with one. I didn't pay attention if they were for salywater?

Mike these reel seats are not only sweet as you said but indead a fine product for salt water use! I can't say enough about the alps reel seats and the fact that a manufacturer finally gave a spin real seat install something besides the standard graphite/plastic to offer our customers! As usual leave it too batson to offer us a quality alternative to the rest of the follow the leaders. I am also impressed that the ceo of batson himself takes the time to read and respond to an inquiery from a customer needing advice! I hope all of you builders note that as in this day in age of electronic service there is still a company that puts the customer in the words customer service. I know i will remember the fact that Bill Batson responded to a question himself. By the way bill the new catalog is very proffesional and well layed out as usual.

Don't forget guys if you want some in a hurry I have the Tri-Seats available. I introduced them to you just on a year ago now. But I understand if you want to buy local.

Cheers,

Ross. www.therodworks.com.au
