Hello again all,
Well i was wondering if i might get some advise on some stuff. My dad is a disabled veteran and a true beleiver in the Marine corps.I am not to smart on weave yet i have been building rods for a few years now.And i am wanting to build him a rod with the Marine emblem in a weave but since i can not do that iam looking for a sticker that has the logo and that i can flex coat over,I am getting parts slowly for the rod,But since iam also disabled i do this mainly as a hobby.

At first i thought about putting a emblem in the rod of his medals only one,Like his purple hearts or something,I have a copy of his dd214 but it just says the medals name no discribtion,I do know he got blown up twice in viet nam.

I guess my question is were can i find a sticker with the marine corps emblem and will flex coat work on it.And would it look good or is a weave better.

Thanks for any input,
Kenny Doran

Here is a Marine Corp Catalog. I don't know if they have what you,re looking for, good luck. Sgt. Grit, phone: 1-866-776-2607. On-line: www.grunt.com I was in the Army, once upon a time. Someone is sending this catalog to me as a joke, maybe?

Kenny
Maybe check with Decal Connection ( Sponsors List ) I know them have a lot of graphics.
Chuck & Deb of Decal Connection do great work, if they don't have what you looking for they may know where to find it.

Kenny,I think if you were to Google the medals that your Dad was awarded you might get pictures of the medals.Maybe if you use the colors of the ribbon,it denotes the medal and is what you wear on dress blues and I bet he still has them somewhere(I know I do) ask your Mom,anyway maybe use them for wraps...Good Luck...Alan

I like Lynn's idea; check with Decal Connection and ask Deb for help on this one. Most likely a one stop deal for a MC emblem, anyway (in a waterslide that can easily be 'flex coated' over.
