Mr. Bob Hesser deserves the thanks! I have just become so dependant on the site that I'm the first to whine when it is missing.

Obviously, this site is very informative and very appreciated. I should be embarrassed to admit that I'm not familiar with it, but I'm not too embarrassed to ask what it is. What information is provided and what is the web address?

Mark,
It's the fourth link from the top on the left sponsors list. It's a site with the CCS numbers for MANY blanks/rods that have been submitted by builders to allow one to make definitive comparisons between blanks. An invaluable tool, particularly for fly rods. For a complete explanation on the CCS (Common Cents System), click on the third link from the top for a web site explaining the system in depth with all of the articles on it available in printable form.

Just read part 1 and you'll have the basic gist of the entire thing. From there the data site will be useful to you.

Stan, I meant thanks to you for bringing up the fact. Of course, kudos to Bob for having it up there in the first place. It's a great resource tool for sure.
