Flex Coat with Ultra V protection

Hi Folks!

Does anybody have already some experience with the new UV protected Flex Coat rod wrapping finish? Would be nice to know.

FlexCoat Ultra V has actually been around for about 6 years. Roger Seiders sent me a sample of Ultra V when it first hit the market. I used it a number of times back in 2002 and thought it yellowed worse than the original formula did.

You'd have to ask somebody at Flex Coat just what those "UV Protectors" are supposed to be doing - they don't keep it from yellowing. But they may not be in there for that purpose to begin with.

I'd go direct to the folks at Flex Coat for information on their product.

I've used it and IT YELLOWS!!!
After mixing and using, I pulled the dried remains out of my mixing cup and set aside.
within just two weeks the stuff was as yellow as dehydrated urin :^(
Time to switch over to Threadmaster!
