Jan,
FlexCoat Ultra V has actually been around for about 6 years. Roger Seiders sent me a sample of Ultra V when it first hit the market. I used it a number of times back in 2002 and thought it yellowed worse than the original formula did. Andy Dear Lamar Fishing Products Re: Flex Coat with Ultra V protection

You'd have to ask somebody at Flex Coat just what those "UV Protectors" are supposed to be doing - they don't keep it from yellowing. But they may not be in there for that purpose to begin with.
I'd go direct to the folks at Flex Coat for information on their product. .......... Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/29/2006 04:42PM by Tom Kirkman. Re: Flex Coat with Ultra V protection

I've used it and IT YELLOWS!!!
After mixing and using, I pulled the dried remains out of my mixing cup and set aside. within just two weeks the stuff was as yellow as dehydrated urin :^( Time to switch over to Threadmaster! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
