Sage fly rod

I have someone thats wants a Sage fly rod built for tarpon fishing. He saw one at a rod shop and wants me to build him one. The rod that he saw was a factory rod. It is a 9' 2 pcs. 12 wt. the problem is I can't find the blank In my catalogs can someone help me. Re: Sage fly rod

Believe it or not my ds-2 sage 10 wt. throws a 12 line better than the 10.

How well any fly rod throws a particular line has much to do with how much of that line you're throwing. At some distance it will throw a 12-weight line the best. At some distance it will throw a 10-weight line the best.
