Folks, please don't use profanity on this site. Not even implied profanity with asteriks and other top level uppercase digits - If you can understand what the word is supposed to be, then It's the same thing.
A lot of young people use this site and when you use profanity or off color language I'm the one the parents jump on. Thanks. ........ Re: Profanity

The message wasn't aimed expressly at you Ray - lots of guys are doing this lately. I know it's easy to forget that for every person who actually posts on this site, there's 50 more who just read it (we've got over 6,000 registered users).
So this is a just a friendly reminder. Thanks. .................. Re: Profanity

Tom:
Thank you for setting this standard. It is refreshing to see in a world were people have seemed to stop caring what is said in front of our children. Re: Profanity

I am not sure if I have used a few cuss words or not (really don't remember) but I totally agree with you. We easily forget that some people don't need to see that kind of stuff and others that do get offended. Re: Profanity

The use of vulgarities aptly illustrates a weak or cornered mentality expressing its true level of intellect. When my young nephew comes home from his schooling (and I use the term loosly)spewing that sort of irresponcible plather, I tell him that using words like that dosen't make his point, presentation or pourpose any more impressive...whereas, suporting logic might Re: Profanity

Chris sounds like my mom did when I was growing up.
Amusingly, my 3-year-old would quickly correct such speech very pointedly. She told my wife last night, as we were reading one of the Chronicles of Narnia books (my wife was only reading what C.S. Lewis wrote) that she should not say "stupid". Thanks a bunch Tom. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
