I have not used that particular blank but Shikari blanks are generally quite good. They were once a sponsor here.
Most Back Bouncing blanks have more medium actions than say, Hot Shot blanks which are rather fast. The BB 864 from Loomis is quite powerful and I suspect the Shikari is as well. ................ Re: has anyone delt with a shikari BB 804

I haven't used the Shikari BB804 but it is a very popular blank to build for using large swimbaits (bass fishing in Ca). Re: has anyone delt with a shikari BB 804

well i just found out that the g-loomis BB965-GL2 is the same price as the shikari BB 804 both are back bouncing and both are used for swim baits, which is excactly what i want it for. i live in california and swimbait are a big thing. in bass fishing now my question is, wich is better shikari or loomis? The Rainshadow/Forecast SW967 saltwater blank in also popular in that weight range/lure size. Binghams I think has a sale on Shikari right now that would be worth looking into. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
