Having read all the references to Dale Clemen's "Custom Rod Thread Art", I decided I needed a copy. I checked Amazon.com and was blown away by the price for a used copy. I watched for it on @#$%& and lost a couple of @#$%&.

Then, I got smart. I checked to see which of the sponsors had a copy. I saw that Golden Witch still offered it in their catalog. I popped an email to them and a day later Russ emailed back that they had still had one in stock and that he had set it aside for me. I called Erica the next morning and paid for it.

That is what I call great service and I was very happy that I could send the business to a sponsor.

I am also pretty happy that I got it at list price. That was the listed price and that was the price I was charged. They could have sold it on Amazon.com or @#$%& and gotten much more. However, they had the product in stock and they honored their listed price. It is nice doing business with people like that.

Russ was very good to me, also. First time ordering, and he suggested a much better product that would make my bamboo project shine. Didn't know me from Adam, yet he treated me like a longtime friend and customer. Russ and Erica are the tops in my book. They will be the first supplier I go to next time.
