I just completed my first fly rod. Sage 9' 5 wt and it worked great, but a little help on if anyone knows about American Tackle Company fly rod blanks. I plan on building another fly rod and the price was right but don't know about the quality of the blank. And also i like to fish from my float tube and i would like to know if anyone could tell me about Fishin buddy fish finders and how do they work on a float tube. thanks Chris Colome Re: WOW it worked

I have 3 fly rods built on American Tackle blanks. Two of them are the newer Matrix series. They're fine. Nice blanks.
I think you're going to discover that the quality of these and similar blanks from Batson, Sevier, CUI, Pacific Bay, etc. are all quite good. It's just a matter of finding the blank that has the action and feel you prefer. ......... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
