Looking For Butt Cap

I'm in the process of building up my first rod (a bass rod) and really wanted a butt cap similar to those of many Japanese import rods. Typically, they consist of a few rings of metal and a decal on the very butt of the rod. Often times, the last ring serves as a retainer for the decal which is on a circular piece. Does anyone know a store that sells such items or a manufacturer that makes such? I would greatly appreciate any leads.

I have pictures of rods with butt caps similar to what I'm looking for but wanted to double check the rules before posting links or pics. When the rules say "Non-sponsors who are owners, employees or agents of firms involved in the manufacturer and/or sale of rod building related products and services are NOT allowed to use this board to advertise or promote their products, services or events", that doesn't mean that normal users who happen to own a rod cannot mention the name of it if the rod's manufacturer is not a sponsor right?

Thanks for any help.

IT's a Japanese Fuji product. I forget the model numbers, I'd have to check the Fuji site.

Thanks Billy. Do you happen to know if North American shops can order these in?

More than likely not. Like most Fuji components not stocked in the US, Angler's Resource needs a HUGE order, like 10,000 per part per size for them to Import it.

We may have what you are looking for, or I can tell you where to get the caps you are looking for. They come from Japan.

Look through the Merrick site [www.merricktackle.com]. They are wholesalers, but I
am one of their retail dealers. Anything Merrick has I have. Take a look through all of the Japanse parts, caps, handles. Many of the items can be purchase seperately.

Call me tomorrow for more information. Toll Free 866-285-0673. Ask for Pete

I also have a Danish customer looking for the same thing as you, which we have found.
