Hi all,
I'm new. Can anyone tell me of some blank manufacturers that offer custom blank finishes? I'm looking to get a rather inexpensive blank with a maroon finish to somewhat match an old South Bend Finalist fly reel. Thanks in advance, Justin Re: custom blank finishes

GUSA, Lamiglas and CTS do but Iit depends on what you consider inexpensive Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: custom blank finishes

The Lamiglas XMG50 fly blanks are maroon (they call it burgundy) Angler's Workshop has a couple of the blanks in different weights on sale on their website. the EF blanks are 2 piece, the ET blanks are travel blanks. Re: custom blank finishes

One of the first blanks I ever built on was a Janns Netcraft IM6 with a plum finish. I'm not sure if these are still available (it was probably 8 or 9 years ago). You might want to check there.

The old model Pac Bay IM6 Tradition blanks are a gorgeous burgundy color (they call it plum). I know there are still some floating around. Schneider's has some Tradition fly blanks on closeout right now. Not only are they pretty; they make great little rods too. I've been really happy with every one that I've ever built.
