I'm in the planning stages of my next project, which will be a casting rod for smallmouths with a spiral wrap. In searching the resources available in back issues of RodMaker Magazine, I found an article on "spiral wraps" and an article on "revolver wraps". Are the two wraps similar? If they are, what are their relative strengths and weaknesses? Should I just order both back issues? Thanks in advance.
Tight lines, Hunter Re: What is a "revolver wrap"?

No such thing as a "Revolver Wrap" per se, but there is such a thing as a "Revolver Rod." It's a rod made popular by Rich Forhan and which combines a host of features intended to lighten and increase overall performance and sensitivity of bass casting rod. It features split grips, no-foregrip, modified reel seat and a spiral wrap all in one package.
