Sizing re-coil guides

Is there any thing really different about sizing the spin re-coil guides ? I have read that they are much the same size as the rings on ringed spin guides ?? Height similar to a concept ???

Also tip top, any thing I should know about say a 7 fly and a 7 tip top re-coil alignment ??
Or do ya think a ring tip top would be better ?

Thanks guys

Height is similar to the height of standard spinning guides and the diameter is similar to the frame diameter outside the ceramic ring.

They are actually lower than regular rings in height and significantly lower than concept rings. Your guides get pushed pretty far out on the blank using the concept method. For most light-med freshwater rods, you may want to start off with a 30 if you typically use a 20 or 25 in Fuji new concepts, no matter what reel you use. The smallest spinning guides work excellent in place of fly guides toward the tip. The size 6s are dimensioned very close to size 6 concept flies.

Do ya think a Fuji Ti tip top would be good for tip top wear ?? Or would this be a personal thing ?

I have only used Fuji tips with recoils on the advice of others. No first hand experience, but have not heard from a person yet that they liked the recoil tips.

Josh
I thought I did read some thing here about that. Think I may go for a Ti tip.
