RockyMountain Rodbuilding rep for Dan Craft blanks?

Hi folks!
I'm trying to place an order with Rocky Mountain Rodbuilding to replace a Dan Craft
Five Rivers FT rod blank tip section that met an untimely demise recently.

I bought the blank from Rocky, like their products and would like to continue doing biz with them but am unable to find someone there to help me out. Anyone have contact info?
thanks,
Mark

PS: the FT908-4 blank is one powerful rod for pike. Like the ad says, "It's an 8 wt. that thinks it's a 10".

They were once a sponsor here but got removed because of all the complaints lodged against them. I think. Just be careful and do NOT pay up front.

I think you can order direct from Dan. That might be the smarter move.

Email Dan. You will have a lot better luck. When he finishes his site you will be able to order right from it.

I've e-mailed Dan twice, once off his site and once off this board, and I have yet to get a response from him. I have found that Rocky Mountain site and noticed they seemed cheaper than where I usually order from, but if they have bad business habits, then I won't order from them. But then, where do I get a Dan Craft blank?

I don't know whats going on at Rocky but I can tell you about my experience. I ordered a number of items from them over a year ago, they shipped what they had in stock ... and forgat all about the remaining (and paid for) items which included RX7+ blank and a nickel silver seat. After straightening everything out, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and placed a second order with them. Unfortunately the result was pretty much the same and I'm still waiting for a few items, including the nickel silver seat from the original order.

Dan has had a big spam problem in the past and filters his incoming emails. I just call him anymore, he does get back to me via email, but it's usually a few days later. Also he was working a "swing shift" schedule at the shop to coincide with his wife's schedule, and to probably get some fishing in during the short winter months.

What email address are you using for Dan? I use: danfisherman@earthlink.net and have never had any problem getting ahold of him, however as others have stated the phone is the best way.

Thanks alot, guys, you've all been great.
BTW, any place else sell Five River blanks beside Dan Craft?
He's a pretty busy guy and have had problems getting through as well.
Will try the phone, though.
thanks again.
Mark
