I want to learn how to put the link to a pic in a post. I see it all the time...they always look like the exact same link, but they always go to the exact picture the writer intended. I know some of you are chuckling about now....but I don't have a clue how to do it....H...E...L...P...!!!!! Thanks in advance.

If you just put the URL address up, the software this forum runs on will convert it to a quick link. So let's say you want to send someone to a photo on the photo page here. Get that photo up on your browser screen and simply copy the URL address in the browser address window. Then paste that into your post. That's all there is to it.

If you're not sure the link you're sending folks to is appropriate or within the rules of this site, please check with me. Obviously you can link to any photo on the accompanying photo page here.

Steve Buchanan - Using the RIGHT-CLICK Function on your MOUSE, when you CLICK on the URL in your BROWSER WINDOW, is the easiest way to do what Tom said. Don't even THINK about trying to type in URL's - it's too tedious and one tiny error renders it useless. Go -COPY-&-PASTE-.

Using your LEFT-CLICK Button, place your Mouse Cursor into the URL Window of your Browser. Your Browseer should HIGHLIGHT the URL Address. Then press your Mouse's Right-Click Button. That should give you a MENU of choices that include "CUT", "COPY", "PASTE". ... SELECT "COPY" with the Mouse Cursor, using your LEFT-CLICK Button. Then Move your Cursor into the TEXT BOX for your RBO POST operation, and then SELECT "PASTE". ... BINGO!

Here's your $5 self-protrait: [www.rodbuilding.org]

You'll be a pro in no time flat, and I, too, will be looking forward to seeing all the nifty things you have in mind. -Until then, -Cliff Hall+++
