Andy.....Will this new paint for blanks require a clear coat of something over it or will it have sufficient gloss in itself?

I plan to experiment with painting reels seats.....soon. Also looking into powder coating SS guides and reel parts as well.....Yes, I need counseling, but at least I don't MARBLE my reels!

The version with the color pigment are a semi-gloss, but are actually pretty glossy in and of themselves. They look great on their own, but for a real "wet look" a coat of clear really makes them look very deep and thick.

Yes...the clear is acually a "wet look" gloss. It has a super high deep gloss to it.
