I am teaching her to fly fish....that's part of my problem...she has had a look at the inventory!!

....So far we have a new sofa...new patio furniture and she is flying home to visit her parents this month........so when gets back I'll have a new rod...seems about fair doesn't it?

Great thread. please don't take my words as a kop out, they come from the heart. Be glad that the lord blessed you with a wife that put's up with your addiction, and that you still have her. I lost mine last May to a brain stem bleed. She supported me 100% in anything I wanted to try. I was building her a light trout rod, at the time, so we could do some fishing together. I still haven't got up the ambition to finish that rod. But, someday I will and it will have a decal from DC with her name, birth date and the date of her passing. Needless to say, that rod will never be fished with. It will be shown in a hand made case, and treasured as a momento of my love for her. She had just had her 41st birthday. I miss her a ton.
