Reel Seats and thread color

Will be building a rod with an Alum. Batson reel seat AHD-B/BL black-blue. Looking for advice on thread color, would like to match as close as possible the blue on the reel seat. Looking in catalogs looks like Gudebrod Dark Blue is the the closest, any help?

Also interested in the Pac-Bay Channel lock reel seat, looks like they would do better job of holding a reel tight verse a standard reel seat. To date the largest rod I have built had a Penn 320, have an order for a rod that will have a Penn 330 or Shimano Tekota 800. Will the Channel lock hold a reel tighter than say a non channel lock type reel seat?

Thanks

The dark blue is very dark, like Navy, its almost BLACK in all but direct sunlight, you may want to lighten up a few shades to get a distingushable blue instead of something that is borderline black.

Sulky blue metallic embroidery thread would be very close to the batson blue on the reelseat and on the blue ring guides.
