I don't know about the one your talking about but here is the web page for Frabill
[www.frabill.com] Go down about half way on the page they have them for sale but not in Oregon. If somebody can get them or would buy them I would like to get two packs, they sell them 3 to a pack. Thanks for all the help Tim Surprizing how much you can find out after asking a question, here are the St. Croix spring tip top numbers again not in Oregon. SFS-L L $5.00 SFS-M M $5.00 SFS-MH MH $5.00 I have found a little nich for some freinds that all travel to Alaska and fish they like having all the toy's like most of us. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOME | catalog | dealers | resources | about US | rod selector | shop Copyright © 2006 St. Croix Rods. This is a big item in the ice fishing markets...Frabill sold out of these items and they were not available for the last part of the winter...I'm not sure if they will replenish the market just before winter 06 or if they will do it immediately. How many do you need, I have 2 or 3 laying around. there are other styles on the market but if you want the type that pops into the eyelet of the tip top, only frabill and St. Croix make them. St. croix's only fits the legend ice rods, whereas the frabill product has different notched settings on the insert to fit many different sized tip top rings. If you just need one or two of them, let me know. Re: spring-bobber tip-top

Tim, Send me your address to my email and I'll just mail you one in an envelope. The frabill ones are great because it uses a spring the entire length rather than a flat piece of metal. It also has the different sized notches so you dont have to worry if it will fit your tip top. I'll send you a couple of the flat styles I have also...I have a ton of them. Dont worry about paying me...just post a few pics of whatever you catch using them. maybe post a pic of one of your rods with this springbobber on it so everyone knows what the heck we're talkin about here...lol

Tell you what - go one better and go buy some Bic lighters. ONLY Bic lighters, generics won't do. Take them apart and take the spring out from inside. Cut a piece of electrical tape in half lengthwise and wrap it around one end of the spring until it friction fits into your rod's tip. Paint the other end your favorite color - orange, yellow, even glow. The Bic springs are better than the frabills, more sensitive - and the plastic mounting piece on the frabills is junk. At wally-world, I've found Bic lighter 5 packs for $3.49. Cheap, good springs. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
