help with spinning rod guides

I'm in the planning phase of building a heavy 6 1/2 or 7 ft spinning rod (80lb class) for casting topwater poppers to yellowfin tuna . The line will be 80lb braid.

I have never built a spinning rod before. I am getting confused with all the Fuji nomenclatures & really don't understand all the materials that are used for those rings.

Any suggestion regarding brand, type of rings, etc... would really be appreciated.

Terry

In my opinion there is only one type of guide to use where heavy braid and big powerful fish are concerned its silicon carbide or sic guides.
The Fuji ICMNSG or MNSG are great heavy duty spin/cast guides

The standard SVSG guides will hold up just fine. Use the Ti framed version if you need the corrosion resistance and can stand the extra $$$.
