All the Rainshadow products I've used over the years have been a great value for the money, their quality is better than ok always. You also couldn't ask for better people to deal with after the sale.

BATSON Enterprises – Bringing you 21st century quality at 20th century prices.

FishSticks4U – A full-line Batson dealer, bringing you
“What you need, when you need it, with service & prices you’ll love.”

And the www.FishSticks4U.com website has ALL the component's details listed with each item. For each rod blank, and each rod component item & size. Including OD & ID, Ring Heights, etc. That helps a lot with blank & component selection, especially with the blank & line guides, IMO.

Sincerely, -Cliff Hall+++, Gainesville, FL-USA cmkmhall@ufl.edu

Jim,
These blanks are excellent!! I build on all four of the Rainshadow blanks and I like the RX6 even more than the higher modulus graphite series for some models. The RX6 is particularly well suited for lighter weights, although their 9' 4 or5 wt. are nice as well. A friend of mine who is a guide in WY casted two of my rods built on RX7 and a RX6 9' 5wt 2 pc. blanks and he actually liked the RX6 better than the RX7, even though its a different grapite and lower in modulus. Anyways, I would highly recommend them and if you like small rods, try out their 6'6" 2wt. in 2 or 4 pcs. just to get a feel for the blanks. They make great little stream rods. The 6'6" 4 pc. practically fits in your back pocket!! :) Have a great day and feel free to email with any questions!
Andrew
