Northwest Rod Building Get Together

We are just two weeks away and The Northwest Rod Building Event is coming together very well. As you can see from the previously posted schedule we will be having presentations on almost all of the topics that are of current interest to custom rod builders by some very experienced people including feather inlays, optics and magnification for rod building, weaving, grip flocking, marbleizing, cross wrapping and others. We are expecting in excess of 100 rod builders so it should be a lot of fun and very informative. It will not be QUITE on the scale of Charlotte but what is?

We have decided not to have the spelling bee because it is obvious that Bob Balcombe would win again.

Everything is free but there will be a dinner on Saturday evening and we are asking all of the local people that are within driving distance and if it is convenient if they will bring a pot luck dish. We will just be having hamburgers and hot dogs so almost any side dish will be fine. We might even have a nice prize for the best side dish.

Thanks

Brad,
Randy in the post above has given you the post that lists the presentations, everything from marbleizing to handle flocking to feather inlays to guide layout and it is all free. If you are local we would appreciate it if you could bring a pot luck dish for the dinner on Saturday evening if it is convenient for you.
