Most are fast action blanks. Check them out on the CCS Data Site where Steve Kartalia and Dr. Bill Hanneman entered some measurements. From the relative few I have seen they appear to be of fair value.

I like them, I fish using all the different casts to cover all the water I can. The TFO rods do a pretty fair job of getting it done. They even rollcast well, which is one of the deficiencies I've noticed on some fast tipped high end rods.

flyanglersonline.com has an article done by one of their contributors who built a few TFOs. They would be in the product review archives.
