Permagloss under high UV over time?

What can I expect if I use Permagloss and no CP over a dark thread (I really like the deep translucent look of no CP) on a light surf stick over the years of intense sun? I know that PG has no UV inhibitors. Will a dark threat, say red in this case, just fade out over time? Re: Permagloss under high UV over time?

Some, not much. It will likely outlive you and still be in good shape, colorwise. Of course, much of that really depends on the thread.

Now that sounds pessimistic - how long do you expect me to live? Re: Permagloss under high UV over time?
