Pascal,
again I would recommend a Dan Craft FT. The 10' FT's are perfect for switch rods. Medium fast to fast actions and lots of power for underhand casting. I've made the 5wt FT but compared to an older Sage 10' single hander it's more a 6/7wt. I just finish the 7wt FT but didn't fish it up to now. After my denmark trip in april I can tell more about its overhead casting qualities. With the search function you'll find an in detail post from Bob Meiser (the switch rod guru) about the 7 and 8wt FT's. Stefan Re: Blank suggestion for switch rod 6/7wt

Also R.B. Meiser sells his own line of switch rod blanks. S2H106 blanks, he has a few action profiles depending on what you need. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
