Tom,

When I heard you mention another city my first guess was the Triad area. (For those of you not familar with NC. it is Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem area) High Point adds about an hour and a half driving time for me but I still plan to come. I just wish it were at a warmer time of year. I know High Point will give use all the "red carpet" treatment as long as Putter does not marble more police cars. High Point will be more appreciative of us. It will be cost alot less. (And we won't have to pay the 2% NASCAR tax in Charlotte) Will it be connected to the fly show?

As I told you as I was walking out the door in Charlotte; 2006 show was bigger and better than 2005 and 2007 is going to be even better. High Point will be much more friendly to the rodbuilding community than Charlotte. (Not that anything was wrong with Charlotte)

Look Forward to 2007 in High Point.

This will be awesome - roughly the same distance for me and much more conducive to what I'm looking for. My wife might even ride with me and go furniture shopping; what a minute, this may not be good...

This is a big problem for my brother Jim from Indiana. He won't know what airport to fly into, Charlotte where one brother lives or Raleigh-Durham where I live. I think its great, closer to me and more stress for Jim!

Greensboro is even closer and I dearly love Stamey's. I just didn't know what High Point had to offer in the way of BBQ jolints. I'm willing to experiment. I figure given the closeness to Lexington, High Point *must* have at least one decent BBQ place.

Kepley's, Carter Brothers, Henry James and Country Bar-B-Que just to mention a few.
