In true North East Rodbuilders fashion we'll primarily focus on thread art. Guide wraps, trim bands, open wraps, and closed will be discussed and demo'd, along with some weaving and other spontanious topics like using VisualWrap, CP and finish and who knows what else...its an open forum and all are welcome.

Being late in April, there's a better chance for good BBQ weather and the date falls just before the striped bass show in catchable numbers. Because we don't charge a fee, all we ask is if you could help out with a food dish, desert, chips, drinks etc...Bring yourself, maybe some of your rods or shop hand tools, and an open mind.

There'll be a door prize drawing(s) and possiblly a rodbuilders fleamarket/yard sale for anyone interested in selling some of there"junk".

April Fools, LOL!!! I'll contact the guys who were in for that date & let them know it was switched.

I might be able to swing by with someone or 2 or 3 from New York, I've gotta see what teh Baseball schedule looks like first.

I will be there, along with a home made cheesecake or two, and who knows what else. Looking forward to it!!!

...sorry Ernie, my better half needed me to "yeild" that partiular weekend to her interests. After spending 5 days away in Charlotte during which the furnace broke, then caught fire and spilled oil everywhere...its the least I could do for her.

Turkey season won't be open yet , but the Housatonic River WILL be full of stripers .................but I'll be there( unless it's full of keepers !) . May be I'll stop eating venison every weekend and bring up some chops and sausage ..........??
