Just got to play around with a size 3.5 ring fly guide.
Now, that this is TINY... Size 4.0 is about a pencil lead ID. 3.5 is a whole lot smaller - looks almost like half the area. Curious. Thanks, Mo Re: Who uses size 3.5 fly guides??

Mo,
Actually, our FTL803-5 and FTL803-6 will take a 3.5/64ths tube tip top! Our old Signature III 5pc 3wt had a 3.5 tip as well. I know of a few of the blank companies who have some blanks/rods with that size tip. Dan Craft Dan Craft Enterprises Five Rivers rod Blanks Re: Who uses size 3.5 fly guides??

Josh - I think Mo means the new Fuji LSG "GUNSMOKE — S4™ STAINLESS STEEL FRAME Fly Guides" that comes all the way down to #3.5. If they would only come in titanium frames too... Re: Who uses size 3.5 fly guides??

Mo,
So sorry (:~) The guides you mention work well on some of the spin rods called "Longcast" I have used them on float rods with great success. Dan Craft Dan Craft Enterprises Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
