Jesse Buky

This update came from Mike Ballard on Tuesday morning. Mike was able to visit Jesse. Mike visited the site of the accident on Highway 58 about 20 minutes from Jesse's house. Some of the attending physicians have indicated that there was a possibity that Jesse may have suffered a heart attack prior to the accident - evidently his blood test showed elevated triglicerides and other signals that something besides going to sleep at the wheel could have caused the accident.

Jesse is now off the vent and out of the induced coma. His first request was for something to eat! He is still in the ICU and hopefully he may be moved to a room later in the week. Mike talked to his ex wife, who is a good friend and supporter and to his son. Both live close and will be strong supporters for Jesse's long recovery and rehabilitation. The doctors indicated that it will be approximately two months before Jesse is allowed to sit up and start the recovery process. Walt is keeping the shop open in Virginia Beach.

Please continue to keep Jesse in your prayers and drop a card to his shop - I know it will be appreciated. I asked Mike to post a message on the board when Jesse is strong enough and in a frame of mind to take calls from his many friends.
