Best rod case to transport one piece spinning rods?

When I got my GLoomis spinning rod last fall, I was going to get this neat rod/reel case at Cabela's but even with just a 25mm butt guide, it wouldn't fit down inside the rod tube. And now that I've built two one piece rods - 7 1/2' & 8' - I would like something to transport them in (besides a big PVC pipe) that I can leave the reels on.
There's an inexpensive model called the Pole Pack that looks like it would carry several one piece rods with reels attached but doesn't offer any type of rigid support - just the rod tips. I suppose one could attach a folding fiberglass tent pole inside for extrra protection. Another case is the Frabill 7005 which extends out to 8' , supposedly holds several rods with reels attached but the reel pouch area doesn't look large enough to store (3) good sized reels. Just wondering if there's any other choices out there to carry these length rods with reels attached? Thanks. Re: Best rod case to transport one piece spinning rods?

Take the reels off!!!! Better for the rod and even better for the reel!
IMHO!! Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
