Bill and myself would like to thank everyone who came by the Swampland booth to look over our products, spend their money and just talk rodbuilding. It was a pleasure meeting everyone who came to take a look at "Clyde and to get a sample of our Clyde hyde jerky. It looks like Bill , with his seminars on flocking got a whole lot of people interested in flocking and i think it will be a major part of custom rodbuilding for a long time to come.

It was a long 12 hour trip back home after a busy two days in Charlotte. If only i can get my wife to unload my truck while i take a long nap i'll be in great shape.

Lance,

Thank You fpr being able to make it through Katrina and bring what you did. I agrre with Fred, some of the stories Bill told were truly heart rendering, including his own. The one I never heard anyone talk about was of "Clydes GrandPappy", which I heard the National Guard killed while consuming dead human bodies. A 20 footer is that story true?

Bill, I never heard that story. Probably just one of the many rumors that was going around. Glad you were able to make it to the show.

Bill,

That was a HOAX that started turning up almost immediately on the "misinformation superhighway"

Lance,

True pleasure to meet you and your better half! I was lead to believe that the jeky was gator tail jerky. Conclusion: Don't believe Bill Stevens and his Cajun yarns! Now i know where to get true quality blanks.

The cajun jerky was the best I've ever had. Great to take on a fishing trip, or to improve one's mind for rodbuilding - with a couple beers of course. I'm pretty sure it has value in flocking and marbelizing as well. Might even work as bait.

I'm glad it's a hoax that was a gory tale. But, I had a family friend send me an email with pics of a 23 footer that the Florida Game and Fish Comission killed in a canal behind some homes. They were afraid it would get some kids. Maybe that one was Clydes GreatGreatGrandpappy.
