was planning on using ring guides all the way with a roller tip.. what u think?
unsure on guide sizes was looking at 16, 12, 12, 10, 10 then tip.... too big?

plan on using them for small billfish ..

I've done the same set-up, but with a larger stripper, just because of the height of the reel. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT TOP! All American's "@#$%&" tops are the only ones that will work "up side down". Sizing may be a little limited in your light application. They offer #9, #10, #11, #12, #14, #16 & #18.

With a #16 for a butt guide I'd use 16, 12, 10's to the tip. This is assuming an 8 is too small & you need a 10 to pass the knots in your terminal rig. If an 8 is large enough, 16, 10, 8's to the tip. Ralph
