I know im not the only person to encounter this so what do or would you guys do to spiff it up a bit? I have heard of WD or the like but not sure how it will act on the wraps. Thanks for any helo fellas! Re: Spiffing up a rod before shipping?

Lemon Pledge. Won't help the scratches....but nobody sees the scratches after a fishign trip and they scratch it themselves Re: Spiffing up a rod before shipping?

Tooth past make a decent rubbing compound for the scratches. Mix with water. Buff and then use the pledge on it.
If you buff it go gentily, I don't know how the finish is on that blank. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/22/2006 07:28PM by bill boettcher. Re: Spiffing up a rod before shipping?

Thanks guys, looks as if the pledge is the way to go. Re: Spiffing up a rod before shipping?

Even before I fish with a rod I give it a coat of hard wood floor past wax. This will give the rod a high luster and minimal protection from light abrasions and scratches.
