guide spacing

Hi Folks
Just layed out the guide spacing for a 11'6" spey blank and wanted to reference against a chart or scale to make sure i'm on the right track. any info greatly appreciated Rod Re: guide spacing

All a chart will do you is give very generic spacing for a starting point! It looks like you're already at that point. Let your rod and reel give you the most effective placement (something that no chart can do). Read the article "Static Guide Placement" by Tom Kirkman in the library at the top of this page. search the library charts are only guidelines if the line flows smoothly at an even distance from the blank without touching it then your on the right lines Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
