Global Rod Raffle

The Global Rod Project that was started is coming to its end. The steelhead rod is completed, and the SW rod just needs Hiro Tanaka to wrap the last guide and we'll hand turn some finish on it during the show, final coat that night. (we'll put a "wet paint" sign on it sunday.)

The proceeds of the raffle will go towards providing books for public libraries throughout the US, and a portion will go towards assisting rodbuilders that directly dedicate there time and energy to helping out youth and rodbuilding.

If your interested in a chance at one of these unique rods, or just want to help out with this particular cause, tickets will be available at the NorthEastRodbuiders(NERBS) booth. The drawing will occur at 2:00 pm on sunday and be posted at the booth.

Once again I'd like to thank the support of Batson Enterprises with this, along with the builders...Mark Crouse, Doc Ski, Andy Dear, Jim Upton, Mike McGivney, Dennis Papike, Randy "Putter" Parpart, Ray Jorgensen, David Boyle, John Dow, Hiro Tanaka, and Billy Vivona (plus the USPS and UPS..lol)

See you in Charlotte
Mike

For those of us who cannot make it to the show, is there a method to buy raffle tickets? Thank you.
