hey everyone,
i was wondering if anybody knows of color charts for thread. not the ones that the manufacturers have showing what they make and sell, but a chart showing what color combinations would look good together on different color blanks. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Everyone has their own opinion as to what color cobinations look good on a particular blank color. It would be impossible to come up with a color chart for that. Alot ask for opinions on here for certain colors that would look good on a blank. I would say that would be the best avenue and then you would have to choose for yourself, what you like.

Dave,

I do a bit of web design work, and I've got a color wheel that I often use for developing new thread color combinations. It's called the Web Wheel and it's sold on the internet at [www.colorwheelco.com]
Check it out, maybe it will be of some use to you.

Bill

thanks mike,
i kind of figured that's how it probably was, but thought i'd see if one might be available. i do the same as everyone else when building my rods-look at the blank and then pick my thread that would look best in combinations with each other. thanks again.

Here's a neat little color combo tester from David Boyle (Visual Wrap) that's worth adding to your Favorites [www.tightwraps.com]
