Birch Bark Grips

I recently saw a grip made from Birch Bark. It was very attractive.

Does anyone know of a source that sells Birch Bark to make rings from?

There was a thread here in December about it.

Have not tried it yet but my wife made hand crafted lamps wit birch bark shades and got supplies from: [www.maineaccents.com]

Might give you a start.

Michael,

You should be able to get material from saw mills for example and see my previous posts and Bob's link.

If you really cant find material you need, you can always go to [www.brisa.fi] and from left hand menu choose handle materials and there you can find bark sheets. Contact them and probably they can ship sheets to you. If you need help, drop me a mail and maybe I can help you out...
