Want to use white/silver trimar underwrap on a gloss black blank. Do you just tape off area and spray or brush? What kind of paint do you guys use? Thanks. Re: Painting gloss black blank for light undertwraps....

I've just taped it off and used a quick drying white spray paint. Re: Painting gloss black blank for light undertwraps....

Like Mike said!! Don't know if it makes a real difference but after I mask it off, I lightly scuff the blank where it will be painted Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! I just did this useing auto touch up paint, the brush on kind. Taped it off and brushed it on. Less messy than spray paint. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
