Cement for Foam Grip Inlay Work

I'm interested in starting to mess with EVA foam inlay work such as checkerboads or other geometric patterns but am a little puzzled by what type of cement would work best. Epoxy or other rigid glues/adhesives would obviously ruin the feel of the grip. Suggestions?

Contact Cement for Foam to Foam and Rod Bond for foam to cork or wood.. There is an article on it in the current issue of Rodmaker and a really in depth article in Vol 7 issue 6 that had a lot of unique grip ideas/info.

Thanks for the suggestions. I stopping by the craft store this evening to pickup some cement specifically for bonding craft foam to foam and other materials. I've already tired it and it seems to work pretty well. It is basically a contact cement (as you suggested). I just need to make sure it will hold up when exposed to water. Now the fun begins...

Thanks again.

Weldwood (yellow) contact cement is exceptional for this type of work. It will hold up in any exterior environment.

FWIW - I wouldn't experiment with what cement works. You have no idea how it holds up over time & after being abused, cleaned, etc. You use what you want, but you'd be crazy NOT to use the Weldwood in a Red can.
