Thinning Threadmaster

Can Threadmaster be thinned with acetone or denatured alcohol, for transparent wraps? The best transparent wraps I have seen used a thinned coating the first time.

Bill,
I don't reccomend that ANY 2 part polymer be thinned including our ThreadMaster. In spite of the fact that many folks do it, it's not the best habit to get into.

Use a primer coat of PermaGolss, then use ThreadMaster over the top of that, that will give you a the best of both worlds in viscosity, durabilty, flexability and clarity.

Andy: In the above scenario do you let the primer coat cure completely before applying TM?

Absolutely. You want the Permagloss completely cured before you add the top-coat.
