holy cork handle

man i thought i could turn down a nice looking filled pre fab cork grip for some slip rings on a ultra light for a friends build and ended up with holes the size of the grand canyon in the cork..i tried filling them.boy did it look like crud..i guess i will stick to selecting my cork rings and using burl rings for stuff like this. I've had the same problems with cork, so now I buy cork from those on the left, only. BTW, as a Christian I thought that was a good (hol{e}y) pun. Ralph If at first you don't succeed, go fishing, then try, try again. Re: holy cork handle
