Drying Motor

I am no electronics expert; I'm looking for a small RELIABLE motor to be used for applying finish and drying also. maybe around 15rpm. I'll probobly just make a simple chuck and some wood stands. Thanks for any info

Robert,
Here is a link to the motor I just bought and am in the process of building a 8 position coater drier with. Plenty of torque and I have tested it with a pretty good load for a long time. If a guy was crafty enough he may just be able to figure out how to use the fan shaft as a mixer but the rpms are pretty high on that one. We have them at Fishsticks4u for $ 6.22ea . 15-18 rpm is the slowest . We are on the sponsor list. Re: Drying Motor

I use my with a larger 4 position rod drier without problems... My drier is also a bit more "robust than most" as it uses a fence post as the shaft, and only has delrin bushings to hold it up. Even so, a touch of grease on the delrin and the motor runs without a hitch.... Re: Drying Motor
