Allstar Blanks

I'm very new to rod building but have heard some great things about some of the Allstar blanks. I believe I have read in one of the posts that the Allstar Austins were discontinued. Are these blanks really the value I have heard they are and if so does anyone know of anybody who has a leftover inventory of them? I'm wanting to build an 8'6" 6 wt and a 9' 8 wt. I would like them both to be two piece rods if possible.

Also, for clarification could anyone tell me what the difference is between a Austin AF866-2 and a Austin BAF866-2 is?

Thanks for the knowledge.

Steve,
I have probably the only sizeable inventory of Austin's left on the market. However both of the models you require have not been available for sometime.

Call me if you're interested in what I have left....and yes, they were an unbelievable blank.

Andy:
Do you have any stats on those blanks? Do you have any spinning or baitcasters?

Steve,
Angler's Workshop has some Austins left, they had a 9 ft 8 wt up front a couple days ago.

I bought the remaining inventory of finished Austin fly rods. I think I picked up a couple hundred of them. At some point I planned to sell them but haven't really gotten behind it full bore. Too much else to do. I may bring some to Charlotte.
